At Sampat, transparency is not a checkbox — it's a core principle. This Privacy Policy explains, in straightforward language, what data our mobile application ("App") collects, why we collect it, how it is protected, and the rights you have over your own information.

Using the App means you have read and accepted this Policy. If you disagree with any part of it, please uninstall the App. We recommend reading this Policy alongside our Terms of Service, which sets out the rules governing your Sampat account.

Data We Collect

Delivering a dependable service requires certain categories of information. Below is a complete and honest account of every data type we gather.

2.1 Registration Data

To open an account we collect your full legal name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, and the details from your government-issued identity document. All data is encrypted before transmission and stored exclusively at: server.sampat.cc

2.2 Device Information

Technical details transmitted by your device — including model identifier, operating system version, network IP address, and Google Advertising ID — are collected to maintain platform stability and detect threats. This data is never used for advertising purposes.

2.3 Installed Application Metadata

To help prevent fraudulent activity, the App may read the package names and installation status of other apps on your device. No content, messages, passwords, or activity data from any other app is ever accessed. This data is used solely for fraud detection.

2.4 Camera Permission

Uploading identity documents requires camera access. Images are encrypted at the point of capture and transmitted directly to server.sampat.cc for verification. They are permanently deleted once verification is complete. The camera is never activated without your explicit action.

2.5 Location Access

With your permission, approximate location data may be used to confirm that our service operates in your area. Precise GPS coordinates are never collected or retained. Location information plays no role in advertising or account decisions.

2.6 Usage Analytics

Aggregated, anonymised data on App usage — session patterns, navigation flows, and error events — helps us improve performance and user experience. No individual user can be identified from this data.

How Long We Keep It

Personal data is retained only for as long as the purpose for which it was collected remains active, or as required by applicable law — whichever is longer.

When your account is closed and any mandatory retention window has elapsed, your data is either permanently deleted or rendered irrecoverable through anonymisation. The specific retention period depends on the data category and the regulations that apply.

Age Requirement

Sampat is available to adults only. We do not accept registrations from individuals under 18, and our identity verification process is designed to detect and reject underage applications.

If we find that an account belongs to a user under 18, we will close it immediately, cancel any open transactions, and delete all associated data. To report a concern about a minor's account, contact us at support@sampat.cc.
